At our markets we have vegetarian and/or vegan street food options in our ‘V Corner’: perfect for those on a veggie diet or even carnivores with a hankering for meat-free alternatives. There is much more on offer than just health food, this is PROPER vegetarian street food that will make your mouth water! Our menu changes every Saturday.
Some of V Corner’s tempting treats have included: American imitation beef & seaweed hot dog, Indian vegan naan bread served with toppings, Greek grilled vegetarian halloumi burger, Middle Eastern vegan falafel, Spanish vegetarian feta & peppers flat bread, Vietnamese tofu steamed bao bun, French grilled corn with herb butter, Italian mixed vegetable & cheese pizza, English freshly-made summer salads, German spiced vegan pretzel bites and Cameroonian sweet potato fries.
Vegan and veggie desserts include: Chinese goji berry gluten-free pie, Belgian cinnamon & chocolate button pancakes, French sugar-free lemon choux buns, Brazilian hot chocolate fudge churros, American oreo brownies, English pistachio rice pudding, Swiss no-bake shortbread with fudge & salty pretzel and Peruvian dairy-free dulce de leche ice cream.
