Now that the throng of summer music festivals has started to hit, we’re likely to see every celeb under the sun strutting around in skimpy Kate Moss-inspired hot pants and a trusted pair of Hunter wellies. Glastonbury turned out to be a bit of corker with glorious sunny weather, but of course the unpredictable British summertime is not always so forgiving! Festivals in the pouring rain can be a little on the tough side.
Oozing with urban coolness, Shoreditch plays host to a wealth of trendy eateries, and this year’s Urban Food Fest is no exception. Brimming with a cracking selection of on-trend foodie treats, the revolving rota of sumptuous street food changes week by week. From sushi and BBQ burgers to Italian wood-fired pizzas and deep-fried dogs, Urban Food Fest has enough lipsmackingly delicious global cuisines to turn the most modest of appetites into a bottomless pit. Taking place in both Manchester and London on every Saturday night during the summer months, Urban Food Fest promises great food, fab cocktails and a music and fancy dress theme to die for. Think ABBA and Red Hot Chilli Peppers (amongst many others!).
