After having an absolute blast at the last event #MyChocBloggers organised by the lovely Lauren and Jenny, when I heard about the #UFFBlogMeet I knew it would be right up my street. I mean, food and cocktails are two of my favourite things!
Urban Food Fest is an outdoor food market that features 15 stalls from different street food vendors that change week by week. These cater for all tastes with a wide range of food that cannot just be enjoyed by meat lovers but also vegans, vegetarians and even for people who follow the paleo diet! Although, the outdoor bit had us all a little bit worried with the morning looking over cast and cloudy, thankfully the weather held off meaning we didn’t have to enjoy all our yummy buys under umbrellas!
Laura and I were so overwhelmed by the amount of choice, we decided that a glass of bubbly while we decided was the best idea… Some of the food we purchased, sadly, I got a bit too distracted by how tasty everything was to remember to photograph everyone’s, although I can say, they all did look as amazing! After we all had full tummies, we decided to try some of the cocktails on offer at the bar. Vardy’s Strawberry & Basil Moonshine was one of mine and the rest of the girls’ favourites. We watched some of the entertainment, my favourite of which being a rather talented piano player but found ourselves distracted by Jenny’s selfie stick.
Urban Food Fest is open from 5 until midnight every Saturday night and is held at Euro Car Parks, 162-167 Shoreditch High Street, a short walk from Shoreditch High Street over ground station. If you fancy an evening with some fab street food, live entertainment and some rather yummy cocktails to watch with instead of your normal Saturday night TV and take out, I recommend heading down to Urban Food Fest. You won’t regret it!
